New life for www.burgundy-wines.fr

Now more than ever, the raison d’être behind the BIVB website at www.burgundy-wines.fr is to better understand, appreciate and enjoy Burgundy wines, for it has been entirely redesigned to make it easier to navigate and to incorporate new functionalities.

In the Find out about section, visitors can find all the information about the history, grape varietals, vineyards, and people - as well as detailed fact sheets on the domaines, merchants, co-operative
cellars and even on the appellations.

The Enjoying section includes a “Virtual cellarman” (in French only for the time being), a new tool for finding the perfect wine to
accompany a dish every single time. In addition to this
there are short films providing an introduction to Burgundy
and to wine tasting.

The Experience section allows you to prepare your stay in Burgundy (accommodation, tasting sessions, events) in just a few
clicks. The “Bourgogne en fête” wine event calendar is also available, as well as the programme for the Burgundy Wine School.
All sorts of ‘Burgundy’ items can be bought in the online
shop (aprons, bottle trotter, corkscrews, ties, etc.).

The My Burgundy wine space will soon allow everyone to open an account where they can archive all their information, tasting notes and so on.
